Shake the Tree

Shake the Tree follows George, a young learning disabled man entering adulthood, a time of choice.

One bad or one ill-informed decision and the consequences could reverberate for decades. One good choice or moment of inspiration, and the possibilities become endless.

Shake the Tree is a thought provoking live dance performance with choreography by Tess Chaytor, Creative Director of TIN Arts, working with a team of leading collaborators from across the UK.

It is performed by The Flex Dance Company, a growing dance company of artists with a learning disability based in the North East of England.

Shake the Tree is available for touring from Autumn 2012.
