D+

is a Durham City based performance group for young aged 14 - 19yrs. It is contemporary based and meets every Friday from 7.00 - 9.00pm at Shakespeare Hall in Durham City.

The group perform every Spring at The Gala Theatre in Durham, and often get invited to other platforms throughout the North East of England.

Tiny TIN's

Tiny TINs are creative dance workshops specially designed to cater for the youngest members of our community. These workshops will introduce your little ones to movement with music in a fun and educational way. It is also a chance for parents to relax and let someone else take the lead as you and your children move together in harmony.

Day & time: Saturdays 10.00am - 11.00am

Venue: Framwellgate Moor Community Centre, Front Street, Framwellgate Moor, Durham, DH1 5BL

Cost: £4.50 per session, £2 each additional child

Durham City Junior Youth Group

Exciting new creative dance group for children aged 7 - 13 in Durham City.

Created for 20 young people from across County Durham to explore contemporary dance in a fun & exciting way. Learn how to create your own moves, choreograph dances and perform alongside your friends old & new!

The Durham City Junior Youth Group started formally in September 2010 and meets on a Saturday morning during term time from 11:15am - 12.45am. The group are based at our own dance space within Framwellgate Moor Community Centre, Front Street, Framwellgate Moor, Durham, DH1 5BL.

The cost to attend per session is £5.00

During the year there will be opportunities for the participants to perform should they wish to and in previous years performance venues have included the Gala Theatre in Durham, Dance City in Newcastle and The Lamplights Arts Centre in Stanley.
