Welcome to Tin Arts

Participant information

Hello and welcome!

We’re a friendly, not-for profit contemporary dance company based in historic Durham City, with a mission to give people of all ages and abilities the chance to experience the richness that taking part in the creative arts can bring.

We’re passionate about being inclusive – we welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. The cornerstone of our work is with people with learning disabilities. Our Spring Taster Sessions are a great way to discover more about the programmes available.

We have programmes and events for all kinds of people, from energetic dance classes for young children and adults to work with schools and community performances.

You may have also heard about our award-winning Clown Doctors – who have been sprinkling their unique magic in schools and hospitals throughout the North East since 2006.

Our website is jam-packed with just a few of the exciting programmes and events you can get involved in – take a look around and get a flavour for what we do. And if you want to find out more, please get in touch.

We’d be delighted to hear from you.
